The 2002-03 Ramsay Potts '34 Annual Fund has reached the $1,000,000 mark in cash and pledges. “Thanks to a little known group of student callers, who participate in SOAR (Students Organized to Assist in Raising), the Darlington Annual Fund surpassed the milestone of $1 million on Feb. 11,” Charlotte Smith, annual fund gift officer, said. “The Darlington community has made great strides towards meeting the challenge of raising $1,350,000 in cash for the 2002-03 Ramsay Potts '34 Annual Fund. However, we need everyone's continued support to build on our exciting successes.”
SOAR students dedicate two nights a month encouraging Darlington community members to participate in the Annual Fund. “When the phone rings, and students like Brandon or Lianne or Lindsay or Griffin asks for your support, remember Darlington is counting on you to answer the call,” Smith said.
