Annual Fund concludes with strong participation

Darlington School completed the 2002-03 Annual Fund $82,229 ahead of last year, for a total of $1,253,303 in cash gifts. The successful campaign is due to the strong leadership of Joyce Riddle Neely '62T, national annual fund chair and the dedication and hard work of 263 volunteers including members of the board of trustees and the board of visitors, alumni, class agents, parents, grandparents, students, and past parents. Sixty-nine class agents managed class giving.
Among the great things accomplished in the Annual Fund this year: Darlington faculty and staff had 100 percent participation for the first time in the history of the Annual Fund; the major gifts division increased by $107,580, and the day parent division increased the total dollars raised by 24 percent.
