Approximately 150 Atlanta-area alumni, parents, friends of the School, and administrators gathered at Capital City Country Club on April 26 for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. Bill King, instrumental music faculty and an instrumental ensemble of four students provided background music. President David Hicks greeted guests and spoke on the positive effects of changes made this School year in response to Goals 2000.

Hicks introduced the heads of house who were in attendance including Reba Barnes, Greg Griffeth, and Casey Zimmer, and also acknowledged Lisa Wyatt, who joined Darlington this past summer as Atlanta advancement representative for admission and development purposes. Lisa and her husband, Harold Wyatt '86, joined 43 others in hosting the gathering.
