Lower School fourth grade students recently culminated hours of work with a presentation of their science projects on topics related to space. In conjunction with science class studies on space, librarian Cheryl Matthews and computer teacher Ana Glass helped students research and write their reports on topics such as rockets, dioramas, mobiles, models, posters, and demonstrations.

In addition to writing a research project, each student was responsible for producing a model, demonstration, or activity to present to others in the class. Several students created edible projects such as cake planets or cookie models of their topic. After presenting their information to the class, students enjoyed the tasty models.

Topics such as planets, constellations, Newton’s laws, rockets and astronauts were presented. Some students launched several rockets on the field at the Lower School.
