The admission office has been busy this spring working with prospective students and their families.
Information about the summer session, a six-week academic and extracurricular experience for rising ninth graders through twelfth graders, has been sent to over 2,000 families. Those interested in more information may visit the Darlington web site (www.darlington.rome.ga.us) or contact the admission office at 800-36-TIGER or 706-235-6051.
“Our student body for next year is filling out nicely, but it is always helpful to hear from parents or alumni telling us that they want information sent to a friend,” John Thorsen, director of boarding admission, said.
“With just under .01 percent of the population going to boarding school, it is amazing how many people just don’t consider it an alternative,” Thorsen said. “Help us tell the Darlington story.”
