Adam Richardson has been selected as Darlington’s STAR student for 1999-2000. Adam, whose academic accomplishments include a perfect score on the PSAT in 1998, participates in a wide variety of activities on campus including the Darlington Chorus, Darlington Players, and student publications.
The Student Teacher Achievement Recognition (STAR) program was established by the Professional Association of Georgia Educators, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and the Georgia Department of Education in order to reward student excellence in scholastics and to allow students to acknowledge the teacher most inspiring to them.
Adam chose Mark Alber, science department chairman, as his STAR teacher.
