Director of Admission Lisa Schlenk and the admission staff have planned a series of events to welcome new families to Darlington.
“We enjoyed getting to know our new families during the admission process,” Schlenk said. “We want to help them build the most positive and effective relationship with our school this year.”
To help inform, answer questions, and address any concerns new families may have, the admission office has scheduled an orientation and gathering for new Lower School parents, a pizza party for rising sixth-grade and all new Middle School families, an orientation for rising ninth-grade and all new Upper School day families, and a dinner for new resident parents.
Schlenk’s advice to new families: “Plan on getting involved. Not only is it fun, but it’s rewarding, too.”
