88 selected to be Admission Tiger Experts

Eighty-eight Upper School students have been selected to represent Darlington School in the Admission Office’s Tiger Experts Program in 2014-15.
"Selection is based on enthusiasm and commitment to Darlington,” said Derek Perkins, director of admission. “The students are recommended by faculty or staff and also go through an interview process before being chosen. Selected students have a wonderful opportunity to develop leadership skills and make a difference in their school community.”
The Admission Tiger Experts will be organized into six specific groups, each with a respective student leader. Their areas of focus are (1) touring prospective day students; (2) touring prospective resident students; (3) representing Darlington at speaking engagements and special events; (4) working in the Admission Office during free periods; (5) outreach and correspondence with students who have inquired about Darlington or been accepted; and (6) helping to create interesting website content that prospective students and families will enjoy.
The day student tour guide team will be led by rising senior Jack Tunnell of Rome, Ga. Members include rising sophomores Cooper Brock of Rome, Ethan Delashmit of Rome, Olivia Drake of Rome and Drew Pickens of Rome; rising juniors Will Crawford of Rome, Sally Jones of Rome, Hunter Manning of Rome, Ethan Pender of Rome, Gracen Wilson of Rome and Mary Margaret Wright of Rome; and rising seniors Kinslee Clevenger of Rome, Abby Cook of Cedartown, Ga., Jazlyn Green of Rome, Hannah Harper of Rome, Nadin Kosedag of Rome, and Ella Peek of Cedartown, Ga.
The resident student tour guide team will be led by rising senior Christina Marie Chea of Nassau, Bahamas. The office team will be led by rising senior Natalie Collins of Calhoun, Ga.
