25 seventh-graders recognized by Duke TIP

Twenty-five Darlington students have been recognized by the Duke University Talent Identification Program’s 7th Grade Talent Search, which honors those who have scored at the 95th percentile or higher on a grade-level achievement test. As part of the program, these students have the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT.
Students receiving Duke TIP recognition include Sara Berry, Anna Claire Atha, Cooper Brock, Anna Kate Cagle, Holt Brewster, Herren Burgess, Chandler Edge, William Groover, Henry Fields, Sam Hunt, Mamie Johnson, Ian Kinney, Christina Kinder, Luke Parker, Chase Pittman, Emily Orr, Gianna Pieroni, Kane Popham, Sam Raper, Caroline Schrum, Tanner Shadday, Emily Webster, Addie Holmes, Elisa Webb and Nicholas Jones.
Since 1980, more than two million gifted students have participated in Duke TIP’s Talent Searches.
