23 seventh-graders recognized by Duke TIP

Twenty-three seventh-graders have been recognized in the Duke University Talent Identification Program, which honors those who have scored in the 95th percentile on a grade-level achievement test. As part of the program, these students have the opportunity to take the SAT or ACT. Those receiving recognition include Maggie Beth Atha, Arden Babb, Jordon Beck, Nicholas Burgess, Bethany Cagle, Sierra Elder, Sammi Harton, Winston Herring, Sarah Cait Hubbard, Chandler Johnson, Johnny Malone, Will Mathis, Wyatt Miller, Wesley Samples, Coulter Schrum, Morgan Sidwell, Shivani Singh, Indra Sofian, David Thoms, Theo Welch, Chas Williams, Sarah Beth Womble and Rostam Zafari.
