I've learned...
- To become friends with as many people as I could! I didn’t realize this until my junior year, and I decided to branch out and really take advantage of the cool people at Darlington. Needless to say, it was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
- To study, study, study—grades are important and Darlington offers lots of AP classes.
- Not to obsess over grades. Have fun and enjoy high school! No one wants gray hair at age 18.
- That I don’t need to be super fast and competitive to join a sport. I am by no means a fast runner, but joining the Cross Country team was a great decision.
- That assembly and chapel are actually interesting if I pay attention.
- Eating too many chocolate chip cookies before a speed workout will not end up well.
- How to make a boat out of cardboard…and that I’m bad at physics because my boat sank.
- That making a robot is harder than it looks. #darbots
- I can make 15 paper flowers in under 30 minutes at Fall for the Arts.
- The back of the library is the best place to take a nap.
