My passion for science began with childhood curiosity about the world around me, which later inspired me to co-publish a children’s science book. I shared this book with students through school visits and a story time event at River & Hill Books, and I observed lower grades science classes to learn how to make my lessons more engaging. As I work on a second book, my goal is to help young students see science as exciting, accessible and full of discovery.
I knew I wanted to design my Senior Ventures project around one of my passions: government. What I did not know is that it would grow to encompass three of my passions and the three aspects of the Darlington motto: Wisdom more than Knowledge, Service beyond Self, Honor above Everything.

Whether it is at the dinner table or in the car after practice, you are likely asking the same questions we are at school. How do we keep our children motivated? How do we support them without lowering the bar?
As we move into April, we have entered an exciting and meaningful time of the school year. Course registration for next year is now underway, and we encourage families to take time to thoughtfully review options and have conversations about goals and interests for the year ahead. Our team is available to help guide students through this process to ensure they are set up for success.
