Darlington School U17 Soccer Academy is the 10-month soccer training program that competes in the MLS NEXT League through a partnership with Southern Soccer Residential Academy. Offered to day and boarding students, as well as local players as an extracurricular opportunity, the Soccer Academy enrolls highly motivated male student-athletes who share a common goal – to obtain a premier college-preparatory education and to play at the highest club soccer levels in MLS NEXT AD. Founded in 2004, the Soccer Academy has placed over 326 players into college soccer and 36 players into the pros, while over 75 players have made National Team appearances.
