Advisory Program
We’re here to hear you.
The Advisory Program is a cornerstone of the Darlington experience, ensuring every student has a place to connect, belong, and be supported throughout their journey. Advisory groups meet twice each week by grade level, creating time for meaningful conversations and lasting relationships.
The Role of the Advisor
Every student is paired with a dedicated advisor who serves as a trusted mentor, advocate and guide. Advisors build meaningful relationships with their students, getting to know their strengths, interests, goals, and challenges so they can provide personalized support along the way. They also serve as the primary point of contact for families, partnering with parents to help students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Whether discussing academics, college planning, campus life, or personal growth, advisors create a welcoming environment where students feel comfortable seeking guidance, asking questions, or simply checking in. They are there to celebrate successes, help navigate challenges, and connect students with additional resources whenever needed.
More than anything, advisors ensure every student knows they have a trusted adult who is invested in their success, ready to listen, and committed to helping them make the most of their Darlington experience.
