Justin Bruce

Learning Specialist

Justin has served as a learning specialist at the Upper School since 2016. He holds a B.S. in Collaborative Special Education from Auburn University, a Masters in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum from the University of West Georgia and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University. Justin has nearly a decade of experience in education, most recently as a self-contained special education teacher at Model Middle School, where he also coached basketball and football. He is married to Elizabeth (Collier) Bruce ('03).

Bruce to serve as Upper School learning specialist

Justin Bruce is excited to join the Darlington Community as the newly named Upper School learning specialist. With a B.S. in Collaborative Special Education from Auburn University, a Masters in Special Education Adaptive Curriculum from the University of West Georgia, and an Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University, Bruce will provide learning strategies to students struggling with learning differences at Darlington School beginning this fall.
