Jabberwokk Yearbook earns 13 National Awards

Quill and Scroll, an International Honorary Society for High School Journalists, recently recognized the Darlington Jabberwokk Yearbook Staff with 13 National Awards including the highest achievement in writing, the Blue and Gold Yearbook Excellence Award. 

The following individual National Awards were earned by:

  • Ethan Pender in the Student Life division B for "How do you lean"
  • Ethan Pender in the Index division B for "Index"
  • Ethan Pender & Avery Smith in the People division B for "From Wheelchair to Olympics"
  • Selena Chen in the Graphic Design division B for "Rome is Home"
  • Selena Chen in the People division B for "Turning, Twirling, Twinning"
  • Selena Chen in the Photo Illustration division B for "David Powell/Craig Schmidt"
  • Claire Anderson in the Sports division B for "Don't Rock the Boat"
  • JC Wang in the Feature Photo division B for "Echo"
  • Tyler Dai in the Advertising division B for "Senior Ad"
  • Jalisa Kassam in the Student Life division B for "#3Peat: Another One"
