THIS FRIDAY, MAY 3: Upper School students will have iPeriod together in the student center for the yearbook theme reveal!

The  AP Exam administration begins Monday, May 6-May 17.

The exam schedule and room location is attached.

Please make note that the second exam of the day will begin at 12:30 p.m., not 12:00 p.m. This will allow those that have a first exam time for lunch.

For students that utilize the Learning Center, your exams will be administered there.

The following are things to remember for exam day:

  • Plan to report to your testing room by 7:45 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. exam, and 12:15 p.m. for the 12:30 p.m. exam.  We will start promptly at the posted time. No late admittances per the College Board.
  • Bring # 2 pencils for the multiple choice section of the exam.
  • Bring black or blue ink pens for the free-response questions.
  • Bring an approved calculator for those exams that permit one; Biology, Calculus AB & BC, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, Precalculus and Statistics.
  • No cell phones allowed. It's best to leave them in your car, or backpack in the hall.
  • You may bring a snack/water. You will be permitted to eat it during break.
  • For students that have two exams in one day (back-to-back) bring a lunch to eat between exams. You will not have time to go anywhere to eat.
  • Students will be required to sign the AP Exam Terms and Conditions statement on exam day. Review the statement here before exam day.
  • Email Wendy Payne with questions.

Camp Winshape

Grades > 9-12
My name is Ryan Matherly.  I am the Pastor of Youth & College at Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church here in Rome. I could really use your help if possible.

Each summer here at PVN we host a week of Camp WinShape sponsored by Chick-Fil-a.  We have over 500 kids on campus learning about how to help their community.  In order to make this work, we need as many High School Volunteers as we can get!

Darlington has always been so supportive and brought awesome volunteers!

Camp Winshape will have TWO different weeks at PVN for Volunteers to choose from!

Monday - Friday / June 24th - 28th / 8am - 4pm each day.  Completed 9th Grade and up.

Monday - Friday / July 1st - 5th /  8am - 4pm each day.  Completed 9th Grade and up.

Students who work a full week can get up to 40 volunteer hours to go towards their graduation requirement!
They do NOT have to work every day.  It is up to their own preference!
They will be assisting the Winshape leaders and building relationships with the kids.
