The Tiger Tutor Service Club Kicks Off 2026-27 With Their Largest Team Yet

The T.I.G.E.R. Lab opened its doors for the 2026-2027 school year on Wednesday, Sept. 23, launching a new year of tutoring with everyone's favorite breakfast treat: donuts. This year's Tiger Tutor Service team is the largest yet, with over 40 sophomores, juniors, and seniors living out Service Beyond Self by helping classmates across a wide range of subjects. New this year, students can also visit the Lab for help with learning, memory, and organization strategies, from taking notes that stick to managing time and studying smarter.

Located on the second floor of the Student Center, the T.I.G.E.R. Lab is more than a tutoring space. With cozy couches, tables, study nooks, and a coffee bar, it's a welcoming place where any student can work on assignments and get help when they need it.

That expanded support is powered by MindPrint, a student-centered resource that helps students understand how they learn best. Every 9th- , 10th- , and 11th-grader has a MindPrint profile highlighting their learning strengths, and I help students put those profiles into action with strategies that fit the way their brains work.

This year, getting connected to a Tiger Tutor is easier than ever. Students simply send me a Google Chat with the subject they need help with and their free periods, and I'll follow up with a time to meet with a Tiger Tutor.
