Temple named Student of the Month for November

Senior Brooke Temple has been named Noon Optimist Student of the Month for November.
A day student who has been enrolled at Darlington since pre-K, Temple has taken 12 Honors and AP classes. He is a member of the varsity track and field team, and played on the varsity football team through his junior year. Temple creates video content for the Darlington Athletics Instagram page as part of his Senior Ventures project. He serves on the Student Council, Student Activities Committee, the Y-Cabinet and as a dorm leader.
"Rarely have I seen a student with as much drive and determination as Brooke," said Dean of College Guidance Ivy Brewer, Temple's college advisor. "With little fanfare, Brooke simply does what it takes to get things done."
The son of Camille and Bill Temple of Rome, Brooke will be honored at an Optimist Club luncheon on Nov. 10.
