The Spanish Honor Society inducted 9 new members in a ceremony in Morris Chapel on Thursday, April 17.
To be inducted into Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, students must have completed three semesters of Upper School Spanish; currently have an average of 90 or higher if enrolled in AP Spanish/Spanish III Honors/Spanish II Honors, or an average of 93 or higher if enrolled in Spanish IV/Spanish III /Spanish II the semester of selection; and have maintained an overall average of 90 or higher in all Spanish courses. Inductees are selected by a committee of language teachers based on their current teacher's evaluation and the student's current and future language experiences.
New members include Kensie Waller, Will Bowerman, Ashley Will, Rayan Noor, Brynn Zeller, Sophie Strickland, Anjola Morgan, Cora Fannin and Fucheng Li.
