April 22, 2021 | 662 views

Welcome to Episode 4 of The Darlington Podcast!

In this episode, Brent Bell, head of school at Darlington, catches up with Lee Hark ('89, LD '17), head of school at Greenhill School near Dallas, Texas. You'll hear about the legendary Darlington educators who inspired Lee both as a student and later as a colleague, what he's been up to since leaving Darlington, and his experience leading a school during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even though Lee moved away from Darlington prior to his graduation year, he remains deeply connected to the school and stays involved as class agent. Lee received his B.A. in English with honors from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from the University of Georgia, and did doctoral work in Social Foundations of Education at the University of Virginia. He began his career as a teacher at Darlington in 1993 and over the years has served in a variety of leadership positions in several independent schools including Durham Academy, Choate Rosemary Hall, and Providence Day School.
