Originally from Atlanta, the Grigsbys moved to Rome in the summer of 2019 when Julie was hired to be a learning specialist for Darlington students in grades pre-K to 5. Bob works in private equity. They have two sons at Darlington, Thomas ('24) and Stewart ('26), and one son who is finishing high school at Woodward Academy.
The Grigsbys shared their reason for supporting Darlington: "As a new family to Darlington and Rome, it was important for us to become involved and be a part of our new school community. Bob and I found giving to The Darlington Fund last year was one meaningful way we could help give back. In our minds, contributing to The Darlington Fund would not only enrich our own children's experiences at Darlington, but ultimately support the next generation of students entering the Darlington School gates.”
