Runners and walkers of all ages are invited to participate in Darlington’s Run With PRIDE 10K and 5K or the 1-Mile Catch the Tiger Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 13, at 8:30 a.m.
“We want the entire community to come together for this event,” said Stephanie (Smith) Walker (’83). “We’ve created challenging courses through Darlington’s beautiful campus and we hope you will join us. It’s going to be a great day!”
The 10K and 5K races will start at the Huffman Athletic Center and finish at Thatcher Hall’s Morgan Pavilion (next to the Middle School). The 10K course will include a partial trail run. There will also be a 1-mile Fun Run around the lake for children and adults of all ages.
To register, download the entry form via the link at the top right of this page. Registration is $25 for the 10K, $20 for the 5K and $15 for the Fun Run until Oct. 3, after which the entry fees will be $30 for the 10K, $25 for the 5K and $20 for the Fun Run.
Pre-registered participants may pick up race packets and numbers on Friday, Oct. 12, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Darlington’s Middle School campus. T-shirts and packets are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants.
Darlington will host training sessions for the distance races beginning Aug. 20 at 8:30 a.m. These training sessions will take place at the track beside the Huffman Athletic Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning until the race.
