Darlington School is pleased to announce that DeLean Brandon has been hired as an admission officer. In this role, she will spend much of her time marketing and managing the Georgia GOAL Scholarship Program within our school community and across the State.
Brandon is no stranger to Darlington. She is the mother of students Ivy (’16) and Emily (’19); she has served two terms as treasurer of Tiger Pride, the Lower School parent organization; and she has also been a room mother for five years.
She holds a Master of Taxation from the University of Georgia in addition to a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from Meredith College (N.C.) and an Associate of Arts from Peace College (N.C.) She has previously worked as a tax consultant in both Atlanta and Greensboro, S.C.
"We are very pleased to welcome DeLean to the Admission Office, and we look forward to drawing upon her expertise and connections as a Darlington parent and active substitute in the Lower and Middle divisions," said James Milford, assistant headmaster and admission director. "She understands the culture of our school and is going to be a great asset to Darlington as we seek new ways to draw mission-appropriate students to the school."
