Darlington Academic Dean David Powell announced today that Marla Lee will replace Libbie Zimmer as director of the school’s Teaching and Learning Center, effective in July.

Seniors Emily Braden and Thad Mathis have been selected as Darlington’s recipients of the Vincent J. Dooley Award, which is given by Athletes for a Better World (ABW) in partnership with the Georgia High School Association to the male and female student who best demonstrate character, teamwork and citizenship.

Medal of Honor recipient and NBC military analyst Jack Jacobs will be the seventh speaker in Darlington School’s annual Class of 1953 Lectureship Series. He will address students, faculty and alumni on March 18 at 9:15 a.m. in Morris Chapel.
