Darlington announces Commencement plans

Darlington School is pleased to announce that Raymond Murray will be the keynote speaker at the Baccalaureate Service on May 17 and Justice Norman Fletcher will address the Class of 2013 at Commencement on May 18. Darlington will stream both events live online at this link.

The graduating Dar Babies, those who began Darlington in PK or K, came back today for a sentimental look at the Lower School, some ice cream and to meet the youngest of the Dar Babies. How time flies!

Mrs. Fine's sixth-grade Humanities class created awsome projects based on C.S. Lewis' novel, The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, as a culminating assignment for their Reading Workshop fantasy unit.

 

World languages students perform well on national tests

Darlington students performed well in the 2013 National French and Spanish Examinations, which are administered each year to all world languages students in grades 9-12 at Darlington. Additionally, 15 Spanish students participated in the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese State Spanish Composition Contest.
