In Colonial Williamsburg, students learned about the role of the governor in establishing a republic and observed life as it would have been in the 1700's.
During their time there, they attended an interactive storytelling called "Mama said, Papa said," and got a chance to practice some colonial dancing. One night was spent touring Williamsburg by the light of a "lanthorn," and visiting the silver shop, the wig shop, and the apothecary.
On the third day, students visited other shops and workshops, as well as the Capitol and the Governor's Palace.
