Third-graders present their annual Wax Museum project, an incredible example of cross-curricular and project-based learning. This year’s theme, based on the Dr. Seuss book “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!,” featured a virtual trip across the United States. The 24 students portrayed 24 men and women who have been honored with statues representing their accomplishments.
Each student was "frozen" until brought to life by museum patrons. Their exhibits featured a self-portrait created in art, a research report created in Writer’s Workshop, as well as an iMovie and Keynote project. Guests also had the opportunity to hear each student talk about his or her character in both Spanish and English.
