Max has served as director of Upper School since 2011. He holds a B.A. in Education from Westminster College, a Graduate-Level Teaching Endorsement in English as a Second Language from the University of Utah, and an M.Ed. in Educational Management and Innovation from Western Governors University. A seasoned educator and administrator, he has taught at the elementary, high school, college and in-service professional development levels.

Darlington’s Roach named head of Jackson Hole Community School

Headmaster Tom Whitworth announced today that Upper School Director Max Roach will leave Darlington at the end of the current school year to assume a new role as head of Jackson Hole Community School in Jackson, Wy.

This morning, I had an epiphany that affirmed something we all know, but fall short on sometimes -- you just can’t express appreciation enough… and the power of expressing appreciation is beyond measure. To celebrate our appreciation for our wonderful faculty and staff, the Upper School will host "Dress Like A Teacher Day" next Friday, Sept. 14. Details are included in this blog.
