Previous Background
Wendell has been a fixture in Darlington’s student life program since his wife, Reba, became a head of house in 2000. A member of the house duty staff, he holds a B.F.A. in Drama and Theatre and an M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Georgia as well as an M.S. in Psychoeducational Studies from the University of Tennessee. A lover of theatre, he has directed over 40 plays and appeared as an actor in over 50, winning six Roman Awards from Rome Little Theatre for acting and directing. He is currently co-vice president of house management for Rome Little Theatre and a member of the Miss Rome Board. Wendell and Reba are the parents of Trip (’02).

Servant Leadership: Hands and feet that make a difference

Lower School: After-School Offerings to Include Guitar and Sign Language
