For all Darlington students hair should be well kept, out of the eyes, and of a natural color. Hair styles and colors for Darlington students should not take away from the uniform nor draw unnecessary attention to the individual.
Boys' hair must be kept cut above the shoulder.
Facial hair is not permitted.
No hats, caps, or hair coverings are to be worn during the school day unless for religious purposes.
Hair styles and colors that do not meet the school’s expectations will be reviewed by a committee of students and teachers. If the committee feels that the student does not meet the school's appearance standards, the student and his or her family will be given written notice and have one week to comply with the committee’s recommendation.
