A gallery of artwork by middle grades students at Darlington School will be on display at this weekend's An Evening on the Runway to benefit the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation.

"We were very excited to be approached by the Historic DeSoto Theatre Foundation with this opportunity to highlight our talented student artists while also supporting the arts in our greater community," said Tannika King, director of communications. "This year's event theme is 'The Art of Fashion,' and art teacher Jenna Black and her students have provided some incredible fashion-themed pieces for the exhibit."

An Evening on the Runway, which will take place Feb. 22 at the DeSoto Theatre, is a night of fashion in a fun, high-energy setting, featuring the latest trends in spring fashions from local boutiques. Presented by Redmond Regional Medical Center, the evening will include a special segment dedicated to women’s heart health.

Darlington students with artwork on display are Maya Pandya, Emi Grace Wood, Atlas Kosedag, Jackson Peer, Hattie James Lester, Fenaa Patel, Mia Curlee, Lily Ivester, Alex Martin, Ava Herring, Ella Roberts, Jonna Massey, Caroline Brewster, Allie Cordell, Anaya Desai and Lily Anne McClain.

You may also see some familiar Darlington faces in the fashion show, including Dean of College Guidance Sam Moss ('63) and several students and parents.
