Several faculty members from both Pre-K to 8 and the Upper School attended and presented at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference, compliments of the Thatcher Professional Development Grant.
Middle school creative technology students enjoyed teaching the Deaton Darlings kindergarteners how to use Tinkercad to create 3D shapes. They printed their favorite 3D shape out on the 3D printer and then used the shapes to build different structures.

Darlington to host blood drive in honor of Margaret Olivera

Darlington will host a blood drive in Margaret Olivera's honor at the steps of the McCallie-Kennedy Upper School Library on Thursday, Nov. 12, from 2 to 7 p.m. The first-grade student was diagnosed last summer with Fanconi anemia, a rare genetic disorder that results in bone marrow failure.

Several ELA-2 teachers and Director of Fine Arts Kim Tunnell were able to attend the Growing Leaders National Conference this summer in Atlanta. We were honored to have been awarded one of Darlington's Thatcher Master Teacher Fund grants to be able to learn and grow in many ways.
