One of the Lower School’s iconic teachers is retiring at the end of the school year. Gayle Monk has spent 23 years at Darlington in her 36-year career as a teacher. Over the years, she has won the respect of parents, students, and colleagues for her calm and astute management of young children.
After placing first at the school level, fourth-grader Molly Brewer placed third in the Independent School Science Fair with her project "Popcorn Popability." The fair was held April 27 at Berry Elementary and Middle School.
Our wonderful Tiger PRIDE Leadership Team held their last meeting for the 2011-12 school year on Friday, April 27.
