Former Darlington Headmaster Tom Whitworth was recently honored for his nine years of service with an oil portrait painted in his likeness by local artist Suzanne Royal.
Tom Whitworth retired as Darlington’s headmaster at the end of June, handing over the reins to new Head of School Brent Bell. But he and his wife, Margo, will always be invested in the future of Darlington, their home for the past nine years.
Hope Jones, who currently serves as assistant head of lower school at Viewpoint School in Calabasas, Calif., will be Darlington School’s next director of ELA-8, effective July 1, 2014, announced Headmaster Tom Whitworth today.
