For all of us at the Lower School, it has been a bittersweet week as we said our goodbyes to Suzanne Davidson, who has been a very loyal and competent executive assistant for over seven years.
This week we read and discussed Three Good Deeds by Vivan Vande Velde. We also played a game called "Bullies, Victims and Bystanders." Finally, we did a good deed, making bouquets for someone special.
Lower School families enjoyed food, fun and fellowship during a summer gathering held in early August at Cloudland Station in Chickamauga, Ga. It was a great opportunity for new families to be introduced to the Darlington Community and for longtime students to reconnect.
