Last week, as part of celebrating veterans, the students wrote thank you notes to veterans that are connected to Darlington. Today, veteran Richard Song ('85) came to thank fifth-grader Anne Walker Ellington for her letter. Mr. Song gave her a thank you note and a bear with a badge representing the unit he served in Iraq in 2005-2006. Mr. Song has proudly served in the United States Army for over 27 years. Mr. Song's son is Darlington sophomore Parker Song.
