Our third-graders brought a variety of apples back from the orchard in Ellijay. In science class we had a taste test where we logged each specific type and color/description, as well as predicted the taste (very sweet, slightly sweet, slightly sour, or very sour). We then tasted samples of each apple type and noted the actual tastes. Apples make science fun in third grade!
