Darlington's Upper School Design Thinking class committed to packing and providing 600 birthday bags to a local school during the 2018-19 school year. Mrs. Babb asked if I could lead this project and assist Mrs. Kinney with packing the bags. This means scheduling the dates and times, organizing all the supplies, and recruiting volunteers. I am happy to help with this important service project! This time, we enjoyed listening to holiday music while we packed 125 bags that will be given to the local school in January. It feels good knowing students will return from the holidays and receive a bag, if they celebrate a birthday in the months of January or February.
