Student groups in the Upper School design thinking class worked together to create chairs for specific users. The four chairs were created for a toddler, a student in grades 3-5, a teenager, and an elderly adult. We used the design thinking steps of ideate, define, empathize, prototype, and test. The groups pitched their ideas to the class and received feedback in the form of I like, I wish, and I wonder statements. This feedback will be used to improve the chair designs.
