In this #SeniorSpotlight, get to know Milan Delapenha, a three-year boarding student from Montego Bay, Jamaica, and captain of the swim team.     

What's your favorite show to binge on Netflix? 
“Queen of the South”

What house are you a member of?     
Thornwood House

What are you involved in at Darlington?
Captain of the swim team, member of the soccer team

If you play sports, who is your favorite coach and why?    
Coach Hadaway because she is very understanding and easy to talk to. 

What's your favorite place on campus and why?    
Thornwood because I love my dorm and the people in it! 

Who's your favorite teacher and why? 
Mr. Clark because he’s very relatable and understands. 

What's your favorite thing about Darlington?    
The community and how much everyone cares.     

Describe an experience that you've had at Darlington that you couldn't have had anywhere else.     
RUMPUS, our annual competition between the dorms. 

What are some of the ways you've grown since you first came to Darlington?     
I’ve become more independent and I have learned how to manage my time and money.     

Where do you want to go to college and what is your dream job?
