We are very fortunate to have 43 countries represented among our students and faculty this year! On May 12, Darlington will showcase this diversity at the International Fair (held from 1 to 4 p.m. in Dodd Banquet Room).
Students and faculty will have an opportunity to feature the country they represent with music, food, PowerPoint presentations, pictures, traditional dress, demonstrations, language and books.
In addition to the many countries being recognized, we will also have a silent auction to help raise money to cover the cost of the event. We are asking for donations or art, fabric, jewelry, wooden boxes, decorations, clothing, scarves, etc. for the auction. Donations should be sent to my attention in the near future so that I can communicate the goods that will be up for auction. Remember, this event is highly anticipated by our visitors!
Please also let me know of your plans to participate and/or donate a good. Should you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact me. Thank you, in advance, for your participation!
