Sometimes I remind myself that I used to be organized, energetic, and able to keep track of events, birthdays, and appointments. Maybe, I tell myself, my increasing disorganization is a sign of our busy times or maybe it is a sign of aging. But then how can I explain Betty White, the actress from such legendary sitcoms as "The Golden Girls?"
White has just come out with a book, Here We Go Again: My Life in Television, and there is an audio book version which she narrates. Even at 88 years old, Betty White is an active actress, works with charitable organizations, and has already written three other books! When did she find time to write a book and read it aloud for the audio version?
I doubt I will ever find time to write a book, but this past snowy week I know what I did find plenty of time for ... hours in front of the fire with good novels written by someone else.
