Delightascope




Camp Delightascope is a half-day summer camp experience designed specifically for the unique needs and interests of young children. Much more than day care, Delightascope combines age-appropriate academics and activities to create a fun, stimulating environment. This unique setting encourages campers to learn through exploration and discovery while feeling successful, relaxed, loved, and happy!

About the director

Wendy Payne has served in numerous roles during her 12 years at Darlington School. The majority of her time has been spent with the early learning development of children as a teaching assistant in pre-K and fourth grade. For the past 4 years, she has worked as a library assistant at the Upper School. A member of Darlington’s Summer Programs staff for the past 11 years, Payne has directed Delightascope for 4 years.

Pre-registration closes one week prior to the start of each camp. A $20 late fee will be added to late registration and walk-ups.
