With Davis Cup and High Performance level coaching, Darlington Tennis Camp provides tremendous opportunities for aspiring collegiate athletes. This camp takes place on Darlington School’s 400-acre, college-preparatory campus, complete with 12 brand new hard courts, a 96,000-square foot athletic center, modern dormitories and the best camp food around. As if world-class coaching and idyllic campus amenities aren’t enough to put our tennis camps at the top of your list, we are also proud to offer traditional summer camp activities to complete the ultimate experience. Take advantage of our state-of-the-art facilities, train with our experienced coaching staff, and make new friends at the same time. Players of all levels from ages 10 to 18 are welcome.
Train like the Pros!
Whether you want to be a pro, earn a tennis scholarship or simply become a better player, the Coosa International Tennis Academy at Darlington School will help you achieve your goals. Four sessions of our High Performance Tennis Camp, designed for players ages 10 to 18, will be held between June 27 and July 24. We recommend that you attend a minimum of two sessions to take full advantage of the techniques you will learn from our High Performance coaches and get the most out of your Darlington experience.
Overnight Camp Schedule
Freddie Rodriguez, tennis director of Coosa Country Club and Coosa international Tennis Academy, is a USTA High Performance Coach and a member of both USPTA and PTR. He has represented his home country, the Dominican Republic, in international tennis tournaments since age 12. In high school, he won a gold medal in the Dominican Republic National Games and achieved World Junior ranking. He later accepted a scholarship to play tennis for Shorter College (Rome, Ga.), where he earned multiple All-American designations. After graduating with a business degree, he went on to compete professionally for two years as a member of the Dominican Republic Davis Cup Team. He recently completed certification in level 1 and 2 of Sports Science and attended the ITF World Coaches Conference in Valencia, Spain.
