Golf Camp

Darlington Junior Golf Camp offers young athletes an opportunity to experience golf in a fun, safe and positive environment. Our week-long camps are designed to foster interest and development in the beginner, intermediate or advanced golfer. A typical day begins with 2.5 to 3 hours of professional instruction with staff members who meet players at their individual skill levels, provide strategies for improvement, and challenge them to push themselves to the next level. After a lunch, campers will take their skills to the course and tee up for 9 holes of play. Our staff – comprised of PGA and former LPGA pros, collegiate players and superior high school athletes – plays alongside each group, offering insight on course strategy, club selection, etiquette and rules. After play, day campers are free to depart, while overnight campers enjoy free time, a dip in the pool, dinner, and fun and engaging nightly activities. We guarantee that each player will leave Darlington’s Golf Camp with fun memories and more confidence, passion, determination and skill in the game.

Level I - Beginner

If you just picked up a club for the first time or have only been playing a short while, this program is for you. We will teach you how to attain that all-important, fundamentally sound swing, as well as the proper mechanics and basics of course play. By the end of the week, you will understand every aspect of the game, including driving, irons, chipping and putting. Our ultimate objective is to give you the passion, skill and comprehension to not only enjoy the game, but to continue to improve beyond camp.

Level II - Intermediate

This program is designed for golfers with some prior playing experience and promises to build greatness upon your existing foundation. While golfers at this level may be of different playing strengths, our program is designed to help each individual improve his or her skills. Specific attention is given to swing development, course management, rules and etiquette, and the importance of developing a positive competitive attitude. Current and soon-to-be high school players who participate in this program will not only sharpen their game, but increase their self-confidence as well.

Level II - Advanced

If you’ve already got the goods, our staff can help you move from good to great. For tournament-level players with handicaps of 10 or less, this program addresses all aspects of competitive play and is tailor-made for the low-handicap player striving to improve his or her tournament results and graduate to the highest level.
