Summer Scholars:
Robotics and Engineering

Student teams will tackle various robotic challenges focusing on alternative energy, automobiles, and biomedical engineering. Each of the two sessions will offer unique and exciting learning opportunities for beginning, intermediate, and advanced Lego engineers. Campers registered for both sessions will be given more advanced opportunities during the second week. Sessions limited to 22 campers.

About the director

Owen Kinney has been a teacher at Darlington’s Upper School since 1999. He has directed academic enrichment and adventure camps for Middle School students for the past 10 years. He has been the coach of Darlington’s First Lego League and First Tech Challenge Teams, for the past four years. Since arriving at Darlington, he has taught Biology, Environmental Science, AP Environmental Science, Zoology, and Robotics at the Upper School.
