Health Class

A summer Health class will be offered to rising ninth-grade Darlington students June 14–18 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at a cost of $350 per student. Students who take and pass this course may exempt the required Health segment of the Health/Wellness/Fitness class, which meets two times per week throughout the freshman year. Lunch is not provided during the summer course, so please bring a sack lunch.

About the director

Angie Milford taught health at Darlington for 9 years and served as chairperson of the P.E. department for 2 years. She has taught the summer health class for over 5 years now. Currently, she does personal training, American Red Cross certification and is in training for Ironman Florida. Milford also taught health at the college level for six years prior to her work at Darlington.
