Darlington’s Kent Harrison, varsity baseball head coach, and his staff make this camp a grand slam for all aspiring players. Baseball Camp focuses on the essential skills of hitting, fielding, pitching and improving hand-eye coordination.
Campers put their newly honed skills to the test in scrimmages. Beyond the fundamentals, campers will learn good sportsmanship and how to be a team player. Campers receive water bottle, gear bag and camp T-shirt.
Kent Harrison has worked in Darlington’s Admission Office since 2007 and also serves as head varsity baseball coach. He has coached previously in Polk County, Heard County and Paulding County, and has served as a counselor at Camp Darlington. Harrison holds B.S. and M.Ed. degrees from the State University of West Georgia, where he played baseball.
