Outstanding athletes in track, baseball, golf, lacrosse, soccer and tennis were recognized at the Spring Sports Assembly on Monday, April 24 in Morris Chapel. 

In girls’ track: 

Senior Anna Claire Atha from Rome, Ga. received the Scholar Athlete Award and Pillar Award. 

Sophomore Kacey Kemp from Nassau, Bahamas received the Jeff Gaither Award. 

Senior Kate Flory from Columbus, Ga. received the Most Valuable Player Award. 

In boys’ track: 

Senior Griffin Wheeler from Fayetteville, N.C. received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

Senior Henry Fields from Kingston, Ga. received the Pillar Award. 

Junior Ejijah Ball from Silver Creek, Ga. received the Jeff Gaither Award. 

Senior Elijah McKoy from Rome, Ga. received the Most Valuable Player Award.

In baseball: 

Junior Nolan Wilson from Rome, Ga. received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

Junior John Druckenmiller from Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award. 

Senior Kane Kinard Popham from Cedartown, Ga. received the Harry Logan Boss Jr. Award and Most Valuable Player Award. 

In girls’ golf: 

Junior Stacy Chen from Rome, Ga. received the Scholar Athlete Award. 

Freshman Liza Frisbee from Cartersville, Ga. received the award for Most Improved. 

Senior Avery Smith from Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award. 

Junior Sophia Kalusche from Bad Homburg, Germany received the Most Valuable Golfer Award.

Senior Luke Parker from Summerville, Ga. received the Scholar Athlete and Lanny Pinkard awards. 

Freshman Carter Anderson from Rome, Ga. received the Pillar Award.
